The Foundation

DISTRICT SEVEN FOUNDATION

The District Seven Foundation was established in January 2009. The purpose of the foundation will be the promotion of academic excellence in Spartanburg School District Seven through direct support of projects, activities, educational assistance, and professional development.

Whereas, Spartanburg School District Seven, holds as its mission the promotion of excellence in the academics, arts, activities, and athletics, this special fund will be devoted primarily to the annual support of key strategies honoring tradition, rewarding excellence, and nurturing innovation. The Foundation’s primary goals and objectives seek to support innovation in teaching, professional development, identification of programs to positively impact student achievement, and reward excellence.

The Non-Endowed Fund is being held, managed, administered, applied and disbursed as a special fund at the Spartanburg County Foundation. The District Seven Foundation will be independently guided by a volunteer Board of Directors who embody various aspects of the Spartanburg School District Seven Community.
