Special Education

Spartanburg School District Seven provides a full range of special education and related services for students with disabilities on accordance with state and federal regulations. These services include screenings, evaluations, remediation, accommodations and modifications, and related services such as occupational therapy, physical therapy, social work, counseling, etc. We have various special education classes throughout the school district and resource classes at all schools. At the high school we also have job coaching available. Students who need self-contained classes are bused to other schools if the specific class they need is not available at their home school. In addition, the district is the fiscal agent for the countywide special day school for students with very server disabilities who require very intensive services and supports.
