Boys Tennis Team Captures State Title

With a 6-0 victory over South Aiken the Vikings once again fulfilled their destiny and won the state championship. That makes three consecutive 4A state titles and 64 straight wins for the team. That makes three consecutive 4A state titles and 64 straight wins for the team, which went an amazing 30-0 individually in five playoff matches and didn’t lose an individual match in-state all year.
Top-seed and Clemson commit Chambers Easterling was named the 4A/3A Boys Tennis State Singles Champion for the 2nd consecutive year. Chambers was also selected as a 2016 All-American by the National High School Tennis All-American Foundation out of Newport Beach, California. This honor is only bestowed upon the top 50 high school tennis players in the USA. Congratulations to Chambers!
