My name is Parker Shepherd, and I’m excited to join the Todd family as a PE teacher! 🏃‍♂️✨ This will be my fourth year teaching PE, but my first year here at EP Todd. I graduated from the University of South Carolina in 2022 with degrees in Physical Education and Adapted Physical Education. My goal is to help students develop a healthy relationship with physical activity. As a huge Gamecock fan, I’ve always had a passion for sports and physical activity. Outside of teaching, I’ve enjoyed coaching football and baseball. 🏈⚾ I’m looking forward to an amazing school year with all of you! 🌟

My name is Ursula Wright, and I am so excited to embark on this new journey as a Kindergarten teacher at E.P. Todd! 🍎✨ I’m married to the love of my life, Carl, and we have three handsome young men: identical twins Deven and Deitrich, and our youngest son, Davison. I grew up in Irmo, SC, and I’m passionate about being outdoors, fitness, thrifting, cooking/baking, traveling, and reading. 📚✨ My favorite book is Because I Had a Teacher by Kobi Yamada. I'm a University of Phoenix graduate with a B.S. in Early Childhood Education, and I absolutely love teaching the littles! This year marks my 5th year of teaching, and I’ve taught various age groups from birth to 3 years, 4-year-old Pre-K, Kindergarten, and now 1st grade! Currently, I'm pursuing my master's in Clinical Mental Health and School Counseling at Walden University. 🎓🌿 The classroom inspires me because of the unique qualities each student brings. As I strive to make an impact on them, they make an even bigger impact on me. Together, we grow in knowledge! 🌟❤️

This past spring, I completed my student teaching in a Montessori classroom and fell in love with the method. 🌿📚 A little about me: I love being outdoors whenever I can, getting lost in a good book, and painting whenever inspiration strikes. 🎨🌳 I can't wait to meet your students and make this school year amazing together! 🌟💖

Since moving to South Carolina a year ago, she has embraced the great outdoors, hiking the tallest peak in the state, swimming in waterfall pools, and zip-lining through the mountains. 🌲🏞️ A true book lover, she often finishes a book within 24 hours and loves finding quiet places to read. 📚✨Her children know if they can't find her, she is most likely reading! She's also a big dog lover, with three German Shepherd mix pups at home—and would happily add more if she could! 🐾❤️ Originally from Minnesota, she calls it POP, not soda, and firmly believes in "duck, duck, gray duck." 🦆 and not goose. WELCOME TO TODD! We are thrilled to welcome Mrs. Frances Memmott to our Preschool Team at EP Todd! I'm so excited to join the amazing team here at E. P. Todd School! A little about me: I'm originally from Columbia, SC, and I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education with an add-on certification in teaching students with learning disabilities from the University of South Carolina-Upstate. After college, I taught preschool (3K) at Gaffney Head Start for 3 years. For the past 9 years, I've been teaching Preschool Special Education in the Child Development Centers in Greenville County Schools. Teaching young minds and watching them grow has been such a rewarding experience for me. On a personal note, my husband Corey and I recently moved to Spartanburg to be closer to family. We have a Labrador retriever named Heidi, who is absolutely adorable but can be a bit of a rascal! 🐾 And we are thrilled to be expecting our first baby in August! 👶💕 I'm looking forward to an incredible school year ahead and can't wait to meet all of you and your wonderful children. Let's make this year a great one filled with learning, growth, and lots of fun!

Summer Reading Camp in D7 is a BLAST! Our principals and district administrators had just as much fun being guest readers as our students did hearing them. We grow and learn TOGETHER in D7. This week, Summer Reading Camp students had an extra treat with a visit from our last guest, Alex Saunders, a children’s book author, illustrator, singer, songwriter. The kids LOVED him! Dream big, students…seeing others do what they love is one important way we inspire and equip! #ToInspireAndEquip #TEAM7

District 7 extends a warm invitation to families in Spartanburg to participate in our summer meal program for 2024. We're providing free individual meals served at various community sites and as part of summer school and other structured programs at our school sites. Please note that meals must be enjoyed on-site, per Federal program regulations. While our school sites are exclusively serving enrolled summer school students, some community sites are open to anyone aged 18 and under. This initiative is made possible thanks to the United States Department of Agriculture's Summer Meals Program. Today was DAY ONE of EP Todd's Teacher Appreciation celebration! Everyone in our building is a teacher first, and we wanted them to know that there is "no SUB" for them! We want to thank our families and our amazing PTO for their donations that helped make today possible! #Team7

We are so excited to highlight some of our outstanding faculty and staff members. Mrs. Lauren Hampton has been selected as our 2024-2025 Teacher of the Year. Also being recognized are Mr. Cole Quinn as our outstanding Support Staff Member of the Year. Rounding out the recognitions is Mr. Melvin Crosby as our Crystal Apple award winner as an outstanding first year teacher. We could not be more proud of these staff members and what they bring to E. P. Todd.
