Camp Burnt Gin
Camp Burnt Gin is an over-night summer camp provided by the SC Department of Health and Enviromental Control (SCDHEC). It is located in Wedgefield, South Carolina and is for children who have physical disabilities and chronic illnesses. From early June until mid August, Camp Burnt Gin operates five, seven day sessions for 7 through 15 year old children and two six day session for teenagers. Camp Spearhead
Camp Spearhead, founded in 1968 and located in the foothills of upstate SC, is a residential special needs camp for children (8 and up) and adults with special needs. Each summer Spearhead serves nearly 600 campers over the course of the eight week season. During the school-year Spearhead offers continued social and recreational opportunities through the popular Weekend Program. Visit the Camp Spearhead website.
Hilton Head Heroes
Non- profit, charitable organization whose mission is to bring children, between the ages of four and twelve with life threatening or serious illnesses, and their families to Hilton Head Island for a cost free resort vacation. Visit the Hilton Head Heroes website.
Victory Junction Gang Camp
Victory Junction is a year-round camp that serves children, ages 7 to 15, with a variety of health issues. Located in the Piedmont Triad of North Carolina, the camp is comprised of 44 buildings on 72 acres. During the summer we offer week long disease specific sessions with up to 125 kids per session.
During the Fall, Winter and Spring we offer family weekends with up to 32 families per weekend. Visit the Victory Junction Gang Camp website.
