McCarthy Secondary Division
The Vocational Division serves students age 12 to 21. Within this division, the students begin learning skills necessary to become successful in the world of work.
In Transition, students age 12 to 14 are involved in a curriculum that focuses on social skills, survival academics, independence and beginning work skills.
Prevocational and Vocational students learn job skills through experiences in Horticulture and Home Economics. They also develop and maintain functional academic skills and continue social skills training. Students may be involved in both on and off campus job sites, when appropriate.
Vocational Skills Development is for students ages 14-21 who need daily living skills and supported employment. Their curriculum includes social skills, survival academics, independent living skills, and basic work skills, including job sites when appropriate.
