We have a fantastic group of teachers and staff at MHW, and we consider it a privilege to work with our students each day. It certainly takes a village to embark on this great work, but with the combination of strong parental involvement, a great community, and committed staff, the possibilities of what our students can accomplish are endless!

Mary Wright is a Continuous Improvement school. Which means we have an ongoing commitment to quality improvement efforts.

Our staff will continue to use the PDSA Cycles to set classroom goals, monitor progress, and adjust instructional strategies as needed.

Technology plays a huge part in academic success. All our students are equipped with devices that teachers use to plan innovative lessons and activities. We are so fortunate to have the resources and instructional tools necessary for our students to fulfill the Profile of the South Carolina Graduate.

We are blessed to have community partners who pack food bags for students to take home on weekends. Our faith-based partners also help our families with Christmas, tutoring, and learning experiences, such as Earth Day, Dr. Seuss Day, and Colonial Day.

I look forward to continuing this work with our students, dynamic staff, dedicated parents, and involved community members.
