The DMES Student Council offers our students an important opportunity to lead. Every fall, 2nd - 5th grade classes will elect a classroom representative. 5th grade students may run for schoolwide office. All Student Council representatives are held to a high standard of academic and behavioral expectations.

The DMES Student Council has the opportunity to advise on a variety of topics, serve as DMES ambassadors, have leadership opportunities such as making morning announcements and speaking at school events, and organize service projects such as our canned food drive for Miracle Hill and hygiene items drive for Hand in Hand.
