Overview

McCracken Middle School and District 7 are a 1:1 device school and district.  Our district began this immersion process in the 2013-2014 school year.  All students receive a MacBook Air, which contains a number of their books, software to support project based learning and gives all students equal access to technology.  Each classroom is also equipped with an ActivPanel to support classroom instruction, which communicates with our managed learning system Schoology.  This gives all students access to classroom notes and lessons as a review tool. All of these resources create a dynamic working environment.  Teachers also work in collaboration with our onsite instructional technology specialist and our onsite technology support person to provide 21st century instruction, activities and projects with our students.
