The mission of the Office of Human Resources Department is to recruit, retain and support a diverse and highly qualified workforce to provide a quality education to all students in an environment that is safe and conducive to learning.

District 7 employs approximately 1,250 employees who are dedicated to nurturing, educating, and supporting all students and the District 7 community.

The Human Resources department conducts full background checks when recruiting employees and exercises great care when hiring teachers and individuals who will work with our children.

We support new teachers and administrators by providing a pathway to success through our successful Induction Academy for new teachers and our Assistant Principal Leadership Academy, which provides mentor training for new administrators.
