Spartanburg School District 7 is divided into five geographic Board districts established by the state legislature based on census data. Each Board member's district is indicated in their profile below. Board members serve four-year terms, with elections held every other year (during odd numbered calendar years). Four seats contested during one election cycle and five seats contested during the following cycle.

The Board of Trustees meets the first Tuesday of each month (except in July & December) at the District Administration Building at 610 Dupre Drive. Meetings begin at 6:00 pm. Those wishing to make public comments during the meeting are asked to sign up during the day of the meeting at the District Office or by calling Debbie Scharff at 864-594-4405.
