Assistant Principal Cherrel Jackson is serious about serving the WHOLE child. When we heard that the new Piggly Wiggly needed support getting unpacked and stocked, she said let’s go and serve.
This is more than a grocery store across the street. These are the shelves that will help ensure our students enter our building fed and ready to learn.
The day included creating schedules for students and going through details of the next two weeks as we prepared to receive our students and teachers. It also included taking care of our families in this tangible way. Powerful for us. The whole team is grateful to be able to do work this fulfilling.
