District 7 Schools To Offer Flu Shots in December
It’s that time of year! As temperatures drop and cases of the flu begin to spike in our schools, the best preventative measure against influenza is the annual flu vaccine for you, your children, and your entire family. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommend annual flu vaccinations for everyone six months and older.
As we do each year, Spartanburg School District Seven is pleased to offer your children the opportunity to get the flu vaccine at school. This year, the District will partner with the Department of Health and Environmental Control to provide this service to all students with permission to receive the vaccine.
Our student clinics will be held from December 10-13, 2018. Each school in the District will receive a designated date and time when students will be vaccinated and that information will be shared with parents well in advance. If you have any questions, please be in touch with our Director of Health Services, Ms. Joylyn Robinson, at 864.586.7442 or Email Ms. Joylyn Robinson.
