This group of D7’s TERRIFIC KIDS took center stage on April 18 to be honored for their good character, self-esteem, and perseverance. Together with their families and school leaders, they were treated to a luncheon in their honor hosted by the Kiwanis Club of Spartanburg. While it is our mission to inspire them, so often it is they who inspire us. Great job, Colton, Esmeralda, Valeria, Samuel, Martin, Shatavion, Jamerica, Liam, Samariah, and Selena!
Terrific Kid is a student recognition program in it's 30th year, created by the Kiwanis Club, that promotes character development, self-esteem, and perseverance. Students work with their classroom teacher and establish goals to improve behavior, peer relationships, attendance, or schoolwork.
